Professor Rachel VanLandingham, Lt Col, USAF (ret), is an Associate Professor of Law at Southwestern Law School where she teaches criminal law, criminal procedure, and national security law. She is a NIMJ Advisor and is currently serving as the President-Elect and is on NIMJ’s Board of Directors. The highlight of her military career was from 2006-2010, when she provided operational legal advice to military commanders as Chief, International Law, U.S. Central Command. She is co-editor of the recent Oxford University Press book Military Operations: Law, Policy, and Practice.
